In the busy edge of the village, where the jungle meets the wires of human settlement, danger often hides in plain sight. One young monkey, curious and playful, leapt across the rooftops in search of food. Unaware of the invisible threat above, his tiny hands reached for a cable running between two houses. A villager, hearing the cry and seeing the fallen monkey, rushed forward without hesitation. Carefully, he lifted the limp little body, fearful of further harm but determined to help. Bit by bit, the monkey stirred, his cries faint but still a sign of survival. The man fed him with milk from a small bottle, holding him like an infant. Each sip restored a little strength.
Through the night, he stayed by the monkey’s side, watching as the trembling lessened. By morning, the once-limp body showed signs of life again. The monkey opened his eyes, blinking at the light, and reached out weakly with his hand to grasp the man’s finger.
Saved from the electric shock, the little one found new hope in the kindness of human care. Though the scars of the accident remained, the compassion shown that night gave him a second chance at life—a reminder that even the smallest act of rescue can mean the world to a fragile soul.
