Yumy, a playful baby monkey, was always full of energy. He loved climbing trees, swinging from branches, and nibbling on sweet fruits. But today, something different was happening. His caretakers at the wildlife sanctuary had decided it was time for him to start learning how to use the toilet—just like the older monkeys!
At first, Yumy didn’t understand why he was being taken to a special spot instead of just going wherever he wanted. The caretaker gently placed him on a small platform and made soft, encouraging sounds. Yumy tilted his head, his big eyes filled with curiosity.
“Here, Yumy, this is where you go!” the caretaker said, pointing to a designated area made just for little monkeys like him. Yumy sniffed around, tapping the surface with his tiny fingers. It was strange, but not scary.
After a few moments, nature took over, and Yumy did what he needed to do. The caretaker clapped happily, offering him a small treat as a reward. Yumy’s ears perked up—he loved treats! He quickly made the connection: using the toilet meant getting something yummy!
Excited by this new discovery, Yumy chattered happily and clapped his hands. The caretaker cleaned up and gave him another little snack, reinforcing the lesson. Yumy was proud of himself, even though he didn’t fully understand why this was important yet.
Over the next few days, he continued practicing, and each time, he became more comfortable. His friends watched with curiosity, and soon, they, too, wanted to learn. Yumy had not only taken an important step but had also inspired the other baby monkeys.
From that day on, using the toilet became a normal part of Yumy’s daily routine—a small but big step toward growing up!
