Little Monkey Lola’s Arm Was Broken in a Car Accident

Little Lola, a playful and curious young monkey, was known for her endless energy and bright, sparkling eyes. She loved exploring her surroundings, climbing trees, and chasing butterflies near the roadside forest where her troop lived. But one tragic day, her innocent curiosity led to a heartbreaking accident that changed her life.

While following her mother toward the edge of the road, Lola darted too close to passing traffic. In a split second, a speeding car appeared, and before she could move away, the vehicle struck her tiny body. The driver didn’t stop, leaving poor Lola crying in pain on the side of the road. Her tiny arm, twisted and swollen, was clearly broken, and every small movement made her whimper in agony.

The forest went silent as other monkeys gathered nearby, their anxious eyes watching the injured baby. Her mother hovered protectively, nudging her gently, unsure of what to do. Lola’s frightened cries echoed through the area, pleading for help. It was a heartbreaking scene — such a small, helpless creature facing so much pain.

Fortunately, local rescuers were alerted and quickly arrived at the scene. They approached carefully to avoid frightening Lola or her protective family. With gentle hands, they lifted her fragile body and wrapped her in a soft cloth before rushing her to the nearest veterinary hospital.

At the hospital, the veterinarians immediately assessed her injuries. X-rays confirmed the break in her arm, and they carefully set the bone before placing a tiny splint to keep it stable. Pain medication and fluids were given to help her recover from the trauma. Though still scared and weak, Lola seemed to sense that she was finally safe.

Now, resting in a warm and quiet enclosure, little Lola is slowly beginning her journey to recovery. With time, good care, and love, her broken arm will heal, allowing her to play and climb again. Her story is a reminder of the dangers wildlife face near busy roads — and the importance of kindness and quick action in giving innocent creatures like Lola a second chance at life.
